Volker Hundertmark (born 1941) studied industrial design and sculpture in Hannover and Paris. Since 1969, he has worked freelance and lived in both Germany and Sweden. What makes him stand out from the crowd is his artistic creativity and exceptional understanding of form, coupled with his extensive knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials.

Volker Hundertmark is also a sculptor, creating allegories in metal and wood, polymaterialistic pictures, light objects and freestanding works of art. He prefers to work as a recluse, and yet his products can be found in their millions all over the world. His companions are an alert eye, sensual intuition and factual inspiration.
